Now this is a story all about how
To become a hearing professional
It will only take a minute so sit right there
While we talk about how to assess the ear.
Hearing evals. Can be a starting place
Cause soundproof booths are where we spend most of our days
Going down 10, up 5 is part of the phase
Determines the thresholds in "that" modified way
Next we request a little bit of silence
in order to measure your static compliance
Validity increases when used in conjunction
With the test that assesses outer hair cell function
Medical referral may be vital
Before a hearing aid can be entitled
Then we'll provide a lil' guidance
When it comes to selecting your hearing devices
Talking and explaining the hearing aid choices,
Will these all let me clearly hear voices?
Hearing aid selection
Is based on audio evaluation.
And patient opinion
Is always taken into consideration
If you can't hear have no fear
A cochlear implant can help your brain hear
Providing electrical stimulation
With this amazing technology intervention
Now its time to give Marion Downs some recognition

Headlamp and alligator forceps assist in removing
The Doctor of Audiology program takes four years
With a research project presented as the end draws near
